Thanks, Cathy, Susan, and Peggy – and any other helpers who pulled the hoses out yesterday, and attached them to their respective spigots! It was done before I arrived. 🙂
Water is on, and we’re ready to get into gardening.
Please remember that our spring meeting will be held at the Tenleytown Library on Saturday, April 28 from 10:00am – 12:00pm, followed by our first work day at the garden.
It will be a great opportunity for us to dispose of “junk” in our plots. We need to be mindful of creating a beautiful site for the neighborhood, and we’ve noticed that many gardens have unsightly clutter (which is also against the rules). We will organize a trash pick-up on the following Monday.
On the work day, please take any clutter to the corner of the garden on Newark Street near the children’s playground. Let us know if you need help carrying the junk, please.
Anatol will give an orientation to our new gardeners.
Thank you all for being part of our lovely garden community.
