All residents of the District of Columbia are eligible to become members of NSCGA. Members must maintain their assigned plots in good order, pay an annual fee, and volunteer at community work days or other fora.

Please note that our wait list normally has approximately 200 names and the wait between joining the list and receiving the offer of a plot is about 22-24 months. In the meantime, we invite you to join us at community volunteer days, educational and social programs, and other garden happenings open to the community. If you wish to stay aware of these opportunities, you are welcome to subscribe to the moderated garden listserv.
