Thanks to @kmckibbe for sending this magical snapshot! Volunteer work day this Saturday! Lots to do as spring planting season hits full stride. Come out to the picnic benches near the sheds at 9 am to take an assignment! This year, all gardeners are required to do at least 4 hours of community work, so 2 volunteer days would cover it. If Saturday mornings don't work for you, contact our volunteer chairs for suggestions of work you can do at other times! Lesser Celandine is an invasive plant that's been popping up in our garden the last few years. If you see it in your plot, do your best to dig it all out - and please don't put it in the compost pile! Wrap it up and put it in the trash. Look for this new issue in your inbox - and don't forget to take the survey inside! We are SO back! 2026 plot invoices are out this week and you already have an opportunity to earn some volunteer credit! We're clearing out this "wall plot" area (over by the police station) to get ready to plant some new trees. Join Ellen this Saturday, 3/21 at 10 am to remove the fencing and old plants - see her message on the listserv for more info. 🍓🌱🌸🪲🐞🌞🌦🌈 Happy 2026, gardeners!
